Organization Settings
Organization Settings separates the name shown to administrators from the handle used in organization admin links.
Use This Page For
- Change the organization display name without changing tenant identity or URLs.
- Review and change the organization admin URL handle.
- Understand what remains stable before confirming an admin URL change.
Before Changing The Admin URL
Changing the admin URL handle updates organization admin links. Bookmarks and integrations that store those links should be updated.
- The previous handle remains permanently reserved to the same organization and continues to resolve.
- Public status page URLs and custom domains do not change.
- Tenant and customer identity, billing ownership, and API identifiers do not change.
- The app sends you to the new canonical admin URL after the change.
You must acknowledge this impact and type the new handle before the change can be confirmed. Simply leaving the confirmation open does not apply or cancel the change.
Permissions
Organization settings require the Organization settings: Read permission. Saving the display name or changing the admin URL also requires Organization settings: Manage and a writable account.
